Label: Crown Lewis

Year: Mid to Late 1930s. From research, we believe this bag to be from 1936 when the Lewis Purse Inc. and the Norman Blum Glove Co. produced together matching handbags and gloves.

Style: Single handle handbag with an inner square metal frame & self fabric button and loop closure. Inside the opening flap there is an attached large mirror. The interior of the bag is fully lined in satin and has 2 interior wall pockets that contain the original pocket mirror and crown logo comb.

This bag came with matching brown gloves. The tag inside the gloves says, ‘Made of Rayon’ 6 1/2. There is more information on the label of the gloves but it is unreadable.

Color: Brown. From research, we believe the color name is called, "Indian Summer".

Exterior Materials: Brown suede & dark brown satin (on handle) 

Interior Materials: Dark brown satin

Size: Approximately 11 1/2" in height (not including handle), 9" wide & 2 1/2" in depth at the bottom. Gloves size 6 1/2. 

Condition: Excellent vintage condition*

*There is some wear of the suede around the square frame and a few very small spots here and there wear to both of the mirrors. Please refer to the photos.
